Proceed to Negombo, and check-in at hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

After breakfast, commence a city tour in Negombo. Continue your journey to the hill town of Kandy. En route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage.

After breakfast, commence a City Tour in Kandy and walk around the local market etc.

Kandy – was the last capital of the Sinhalese monarchy, built in a breathtaking location flanked by a ridge of mountains and dense jungle that provide the backdrop to the varied greens of gardens and tea and rice fields. It is also a holy city, housing one of the most sacred relics of Buddhism, a tooth of the Buddha, which is said to have been recovered from his funeral pyre. The golden roofed temple is visited by both locals and tourists bearing flowers and incense daily. It is a genuine place of worship.

Continue to Anuradhapura.

After breakfast, visit Mihintale and Anuradhapura Bodhi Tree.

Mihintale – is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrim site.

Anuradhapura – is a major city in Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of North Central Province, Sri
Lanka and the capital of Anuradhapura District. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sinhala civilization. The sacred Bodhi tree in the Mahamewna Gardens, Anuradhapura is said to be the southern branch from the historical Sri Maha Bodhi at Buddha Gaya in India under which Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment. It was planted in 288 BC, and is the oldest living human- planted tree in the world with a known planting date.

After breakfast, continue to Jaffna.

After breakfast, visit Nallur Kandaswamy Historic Hindu Temple and also visit Jaffna Fort.

Thereafter commence a city tour in Jaffna and walk around local markets etc.

Jaffna is a city on the northern tip of Sri Lanka. Nallur Kandaswamy is a huge Hindu temple with golden arches and an ornate gopuram tower. By the coast, star-shaped Jaffna Fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and later occupied by the Dutch and British. Jaffna Public Library is a symbol of the city’s post-war regeneration. Jaffna Archaeological Museum has Dutch cannons and pre-colonial artifacts.

After breakfast, continue your journey to Trincomalee.

Arrive and check-in at your beach accommodation.

In the evening commence a sightseeing tour – visit Koneswaram Temple, Kanniya hot water spring and commence a City tour in Trinco.

Leisure day and enjoy the beach

After breakfast, continue your journey to the commercial Capital of Colombo.
Arrive and check-in at your accommodation in Colombo.

After breakfast, commence a City tour. Explore the famous locations – Fort Bazaar, Lotus Tower, Dutch Hospital, Independence Memorial Hall, National Museum, Old Parliament Building, Parliament of Sri Lanka.

Continue with shopping at the famous shopping malls (Colombo City Center, One Galle Face, ODEL, Barefoot and of course budget shopping at House of Fashion).

Try your evening meal at the famous Ministry of Crabs, which is located at The Old Dutch Hospital – Shopping Precinct. (We can assist you with a prior reservation here, if required).

Overnight accommodation in Colombo.

After breakfast, proceed to the airport for departure flight.
